About the Event
Sebastian Hirn UNWRITTEN ARCHIVES – (RE)CONSTRUCTING THE PAST "Unwritten archives – (re)constructing the past" is a research-based, interdisciplinary work. In a collaboration off Namibian and German artists the project is trying to give a deeper understanding of the colonial German history in former “Deutsch-Südwestafrika” and the process of coping with the genocide of Herero and Nama addressing different layers of senses. In a mixture of multi-channel video installation, theater and danse, using archive material, diaries, literature and interviews »unwritten archives – (re)constructing the past« is trying to give all the people a voice which were not heard enough, yet.
