in Collaboration with Simone Gisela Weber

A choreographic installation by and with Julia Keren Turbahn and Simone Gisela Weber that happend last summer in the frame of Unter dem Pflaster curated by Frauke Havemann and Peter Stamer between July 16 and August 13, 2022 at the Milchhof in Berlin.

 

Originally developed for the work Hypothetic Bodies (2021), the choreographic and filmic material used in it finds a new form in the Milchhof Pavilion. Soft Stone explores bodies, sound and materialities that meet in a vacuum between action and standstill. In this extreme state, these bodies develop their own distorted rhythm, a togetherness and a temporality that always contains a form of potentiality.
