About the Event
A dance piece for young audiences (6+)
Tentacles dangling from the ceiling, life-sized fabric caterpillars, a bouncing tent, heaps towering and teetering on top of each other and ice melting. All Our Eyes Believe reflects on ecosystems in the air, on land and under water. A constantly changing landscape emerges before our eyes, one that breathes and pulsates, grows and vibrates. While the stage lights call for gloomy weather and the sound gets caught in a peculiarly silent underwater world, three creatures follow their curiosity and creep ashore. As they wonder at and take care of their environment, they move into and over one another, becoming ever more entangled. At the end of the piece, the three performers open up their world to the audience and allow the landscape to continue to grow.
All Our Eyes Believe reflects on the present state and transformation of environmental phenomena, the interplay between living beings and nature and the question of mutual responsibility.
