About the Event
DINGE DINGEN
For deaf* and hearing people
Deaf* includes different identities and life realities like deaf, hard of hearing, CI wearing as well as later deaf.
What things are around us and what can we do with things? And above all: what can things do to us? With DINGE DINGEN Julia Keren Turbahn and Jan Rozman, together with Jan Kress, invite us into an overflowing world of things. In dance, they enter into a dialogue with things on stage and detach them from their conventional function. In a playful way they leave room for interpretation, discovery and encounter and open up completely new perspectives on our everyday objects. This creates a world of possibilities in which they encounter things and things encounter them and the audience in different ways.
