Research Residency FELD Theater

In the residency we would like to deal with the basic question of how the material from Thinging a piece made 2018  can be used to develop an age-open performance for children from the age of 6. This involves intensive research into content and methodology and a direct exchange withthe young audience In the residency, we want to look at how children relate to things and what questions they themselves bring to the table in this context. At regular intervals, we will invite groups of children from the FELD Theatre's cooperating schools to the studio for workshops, try outs, talks, interviews, etc. This participatory research with children at eye level serves as a source of inspiration for the subsequent production work. Central to this exchange is how we can learn from the children in order to find a meaningful way of dealing with the material of Thinging and we hope to discover new insights and approaches to the subject matter through the evaluation process.
